The PRE-SCHOOL BUILDING
Our Pre-school is a purpose built building which consists of an entrance lobby, staff/accessible toilet, large messy activity area, a quiet corner, role play area and sectioned off kitchenette. We have a wooden extension built on to the main lobby area used for children’s coats, hats and wellington boots, giving the children space to put their coats on in a sheltered area. We have two children’s toilets and nappy changing facilities.
OUTSIDE SPACE
We have a large enclosed outdoor area which includes a roofed decking area, wooden climbing frame, story house, together with a natural play area of bark chippings and grass and raised beds for planting. The grass area is used for exploring nature, we also have access to the school grounds.
FOREST AREA
We are extremely lucky to be able to use the school facilities such as the school field and play trail. We also have numerous weekly visits down to the forest area where we learn all about nature and explore with hands on experiences. We enjoy building bug hotels, going on nature hunts and learning about natural cycles.
